18 DAYS - Dusk of an Era
18 Days is an unprecedented experiment which portrays the greatness of India in terms of creative outpour, ethnicity, classical dance, theatre, and classical music. 18 Days, as the name suggested revolves around the cult classic epic composed by sage Vyasa – The Mahabharatha.
The dance musical aims at communicating the story of Kurukshetra in the most convincing fashion, answering the unanswered questions which can cater to audiences across the globe irrespective of demographic characteristics. Apart from just drama and dance, the production involves camera techniques incorporated on stage. Uncommon magic techniques, levitation techniques and aerial techniques have been adapted to suit the requirement of characters like Ghatotkacha, Krishna and the likes.
This production can be presented in many languages, however, Sanskrit verses of the critical text of Mahabharatha has been used in the entire production. 50+ artists who are trained in Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Martial Arts, Contemporary, Karanas will be taking part in the production with a technical team of 20+ who are highly efficient in animations, magic tricks, costuming, make up, lighting, sound design and the likes.
